The Tidal archetype was first introduced in the set Wrath of Divinity by Seattleite. Tidal monsters are all WATER and have equal ATK and DEF. They focus on the effects of High Tide and Low Tide, which, much like the real tides, alternate every one of your Standby Phases. High Tide increases the ATK of WATER monsters by 300 and Low Tide increases DEF. As such, users of the Tidal archetype must have a balance of Offense and Defense.
